@georgiem2000 hey now, you can also get the PAL dvd for 3โฌ, plenty of them in stock!
it has one audio track: french dub in garbled mono, and one video track - cropped to 4:3
why would you pirate when such quality offerings are easily available?
@DanielGorman20 It's a notebook. Just a notebook. Now why do guys like you and me know what a Movie Log is? Is this essential to our survival, in the hunter-gatherer sense of the word?
@DanielGorman20 YES. I've been saying this. My personal favorite of Carpenter's scary movies (fave overall might be They Live). Really evil vibes but also with some fucking cool imagery.
Allright letโs do some engagement bait, top 5 American films (however you want to define that); Iโve always got these rattling around the brain:
Kane
Morocco
On Dangerous Ground
Gun Crazy
Day of the Outlaw
a dozen Fordโs, letโs say for now Pilgrimage
@DanielGorman20 his films are stupid and he's an asshole to boot, BUT I'll give him this: Love has some creative use of 3D. Seeing it in theaters was definitely something
"My Name is Orson Welles," an upcoming three-month event organized by @cinemathequefr in Paris, boasts a treasure trove of major works and rarities.

I'll do you one better: first VHS I owned was Who Framed Roger Rabbit. First DVD was The Matrix. Bluray I'm actually not sure, but it was definitely an upgrade, possibly Time and Tide or Hard Boiled. Maybe Fist of Legend
Do people really remember what their first DVD or bluray purchase is? When asked I'm like i don't have a clue. I cant remember what happened yesterday. I'm not going to remember the first disc I bought 30/20yrs years ago
