A new catastrophe has arrived.

New York has officially declared a statewide disaster emergency over a respiratory disease outbreak.

3877 cases have been identified so far.

5 people have died.

About 1 in 20 affected children develop pneumonia.

And about 1 in 1000 develop permanent brain damage.

It kills 1 to 3 out of every 1000 children who catch it.

This is deadlier than COVID for children.

The virus spreads through the air when an infected person breathes or coughs.

Things are even worse in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is in the middle of its largest measles outbreak in decades.

198 people have been hospitalized.

Two infants have died.

An 18 year old has developed a rare form of brain inflammation called acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.

A 20 year old woman and a 40 year old woman have also died.

Governor Josh Shapiro is accusing the Trump administration of downplaying the deadly outbreak.

The CDC is closely monitoring the situation.

This could be the beginning of another major disaster.

A Texas woman is accused of taking a child to a pedophile doctor and watching the doctor rape the child in exchange for prescription drugs.

Alicia Evonne Sanchez is accused of taking the child to Dr. Kenneth Haygood’s office.

She allegedly did this 10 times and was in the room while the rape occurred.

The victim begged Haygood to stop but they told them, “This is what doctors do,” according to filings.

The pedo gave Sanchez medication which included Adderall.

Haygood is currently serving 8 years in prison for sex crimes after taking a deal.

Sanchez is facing life in prison, if convicted.

I watched a video about a female grizzly who adapted to raising her cubs within 100 ft of humans.
