Since the goons who attacked Sen Osotsi were captured on camera, the judicial process of charging and determining their fate shouldn't be unnecessarily long.
Such characters ought to be made an example of.
Their ilk must know that violence has no place in our politics.
Senate invites public submissions on the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2026 (Senate Bill No.7):
—Proposes barring former governors from contesting MP or MCA seats for 5 years post-tenure to allow completion of accountability processes
— Memoranda due by May 8, 2026 (5PM); public hearings to follow
Imagine your pastor standing on the pulpit this Sunday and announcing
“Due to gross misconduct, the entire choir is suspended till further notice.”
By next Sunday, half of the choir has relocated to another church where their “gift will be appreciated.”
There was a time responsibilities were privileges.
Now responsibilities are contracts.
A time service was honour.
Now service is negotiation.
I saw a generation where correction was part of discipleship.
Today, correction is interpreted as disrespect.
Before, when a pastor said,
“Step down for a while,”
people went back to prayer.
Now when a pastor says,
“Step down,”
people step out.
This is the reason a choir member can go clubbing post on her social media handles and pastor will like...
We have moved from raising sons to managing talents and the difference is loud.
Sons can be corrected.
Talents must be maintained.
Sons stay for alignment.
Talents stay for allowance.
Sons ask, “Where did I miss it?”
Talents ask, “Who do you think you are?”
I saw a generation where you could be sweeping the church floor faithfully, and the pastor says,
“You disobeyed instruction. Don’t sweep again.”
And that alone becomes your season of brokenness, repentance, and growth.
Today, remove someone from sweeping and they remove themselves from the church. They tell you how they've helped you and your ministry....
The altar was never designed to run like an office.
It was designed to raise men.
Lord, raise sons again.
Raise men who value correction more than position.
Raise hearts that fear losing alignment more than losing platforms.
Raise servants who understand that the greatest reward for service is not payment, It is preservation.
Amen

A dark cloud hangs over our nation and continent .
The Enigma has rested.
In the last few years of my leadership journey, thanks to BBG, I have had the previledge of working closely with BABA & got to know the man behind the crown.
Such a gem.
Such a pity, that it took so long to know this & it ends quite fast.
There will never be another like him.
As young leaders, we have a lot to learn from his journey & it's many chapters.
All in all, from God the almighty we came and to him shall we return.

County 017 Projects
This information is incorrect. A review of the official Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025, shows that the claims being made are false.
Here are the facts based on the contents of the Bill:
1. The Bill Does NOT Extend Term Limits
Nowhere in the
Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025, is there any proposal to extend the terms of office for the President, Governors, MPs, or MCAs from five to seven years. The Bill does not amend the articles of the Constitution that deal with term limits for these elective positions.
2. The Bill Does NOT Create a Prime Minister Post
The Bill makes no mention of creating the Office of a Prime Minister or any other new position within the executive branch. The proposed amendments do not alter the existing structure of the national executive.
What the Bill Actually Proposes
The primary objective of the Bill is to strengthen devolution and the role of the Senate. Its main proposals are to:
•Enhance Bicameralism: Make the Senate a co-equal to the National Assembly by requiring that most bills be considered and passed by both houses.
•Strengthen Senate's Financial Oversight: Give the Senate a direct role in the national budget-making process and in the approval of key state officers like the Controller of Budget and Auditor-General.
•Protect County Assemblies: Establish a constitutionally protected County Assembly Fund to ensure financial independence for county legislatures.
It's crucial to read and verify information before sharing. This Bill focuses on fixing procedural issues in Parliament to better support county governments, not on altering term limits or the structure of the executive.
