@Pandamoanimum That’s not true. I would be happier if we went back to 2005 flavours and tin size of quality street. But back in the real world I’ll make do with what’s on offer.
Beside myself at going to @bbcproms to see Petrushka tonight. Hands down my favourite Stravinsky (and if you heard me say that about Firebird two weeks, ago no you didn’t) 😉
@frasercontra On board with this as a latecomer to double reeds from strings. I think hard to catch up on embouchure and tonguing but the developed sense of tone and tuning is def a head start.
@scretladyspider Big thanks from this bi demi 💜 and so much agreement with your reply to people questioning whether all of the labels are necessary and what they are for. Having the language to describe our experience and being able to find others who identify in the same way is huge.
@Bobby_Seagull I prefer pop or baroque for background because I find changes in dynamics distracting. Repetitive lofi stuff, the war on drugs, Bach and Vivaldi.
@JaneyGodley@HeadlandHotel Me too! My brother and I once got in trouble for throwing Lego out of the window of our room above the entrance 😮💨 Key memories are the dressing up competition and the little packets of cereal that were luxury to us.
