@elicab@lisagifford I am sorry for your loss. In the brief time I knew Elisar, he impressed me with his joy in life, and his interest in my games was (and is) enormously encouraging. A lovely, kind and inspiring man who contributed to many people’s lives.
@elicab@denofgeek And perhaps the studio executives think that, after months of being confined to home during a slow-moving disaster, audiences are feeling claustrophobic and now crave big sudden disasters that take place in wide-open spaces.
@elicab@denofgeek For studio executives the main goal is to get the greatest return for the least cost and risk. Reasons for the remake will be: the original was a hit; the target audience are too young to remember the original (so basically use the same script); the CGI will be more impressive.
@girlsthatgameuk This is a great deductive game! It has ’Battleships’ in its DNA but the story context, moving target and pursuit make it far more exciting. One of the best games I played last year.
@jayrayner1 It’s possible cash rich companies and individuals are looking upon this crisis as a huge opportunity. Without protection, many businesses will be bankrupted or weakened by this sudden loss of trade. Those that survive will buy up the casualties and expand their market share.
Has anyone used or had experience with Ningbo Eastar Game Manufacturing Co? I’ve had a very competitive quote from them but want some references before I progress.
@stephenfry In addressing Lust, will you be including reference to the demon king Asmodee, the embodiment of Lust in Christain mythology, and 1st amongst the seven princes of Hell? AKA (in Old Testament) Ashmedai, Osmodeus, Asmodeus, & originally the Persian God of Wrath & Lust, Aesma-daeva.
@senetmagazine@DanJolin @jameshuntereu Would you be interested in writing about my next game, Demons, that I will be launching at the U.K. Games Expo? I will have preview copies of the solid board version in a few weeks.
