A few months ago, ICE hired me
I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I'm real outspoken about my opinion of the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable
And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

@jvadee_xo@hardtclove@GrandeTourNews This is true! You will have to have pre-registered to get the text with the code, but you can get it there now if you haven't gotten your text yet.
@Sza_grande2@laylodotcom Hi! It doesn't have to be the same - you'll use the number you signed up with to get the unique code, and you can log into your TM account with your credentials there.
One of my all-time favorite type of videos is pre-fame bands playing their extremely famous songs to a tiny room of people, because they're not yet known.
A thread of some examples:
Bastille playing Pompeii in what looks like someone's living room:
Okay wow. Some pretty serious rhetoric here!
I've been dismissive of what an investigation like this might amount to in the past, given the multiple times LN/TM has historically been hit with consent decrees that haven't changed anything, but this feels different... ๐งต
@AbelowRob while those audiences didnโt meet Spotifyโs โminimumโ for fans first presales (used to run the program). Cracking the connection btw user actions & volume and correlating that to ticket sales would be game changing for the biz, but Phish will likely always be an outlier ;)
@AbelowRob The discrepancy is more (or just as)common as youโd think - most notably w/jam bands & EDM but also lots of bands w/passionate fans that predate streaming - we had huge presale successes w/Pedro the Lion & Sleater Kinney for example (cont)
