@SimpGanassi You would have to be 98+to have served in WW2 and 93 + to have been in the Korean War (like Michael Caine, not a lot of people know that). As for the post war generation they grew up in houses with only a coal fire in one room. Not everyone liked Vera Lynn. Voice was a bit harsh
