They’re pretty straight forward once you start. I also get the slides from ucl extend and take notes on them in the session so I’m more organised

@RogersHistory I quit mainstream secondary after 4 years, became an educational recruitment consultant and found myself a job in a different kind of setting after 4 months. Realised that I loved teaching but my passion was SEMH/SEND rather than mainstream. Been back in for nearly 9 years

@RogersHistory I was asked if I was ok in my last one as head & inspector mindful of my well-being. school is tiny so I was involved in every element of inspection bar the proprietors discussion. Also saw similar action by inspectors in another Ofsted i was involved in as a teacher recently

For example in maths we aim for gcse but will also enter for fs or entry level so they will get something (if we think they’ll get gcse, we enter early for fs to boost motivation and give them formal exam practice)
