Class of 2020 graduation yard signs and admission tickets for commencement ceremonies have arrived at PHS. Administrators are sorting them to prepare for distribution. Seniors, be watching for your special delivery on Thursday or Friday.

All schools will begin distributing daily meals Monday, except PHS and Southard, whose students can pick up meals at Clark and Smith. Weekly boxed meals available at PHS.
Families in the neighborhoods surrounding Lowe Elementary came out of their homes Sunday afternoon to see their teachers who drove the streets in a make-shift parade to love and encourage their students from their cars. #WeMissOurPanthers
Lowe Elementary had its own version of “Build a Bear” when the PTO hosted “Stuff the Panther.” More than 100 students participated and were able to build their own panther, complete with a birth certificate and a wishing star inside.
Forget spooky szn, it’s Socktober! Robyn May’s PHS Pride TIme group will sponsor a new sock drive throughout the month, which kicks off today. At the end of the month, socks will be donated to those in need at PISD campuses, as well as local organizations and nursing homes.

Dr. Jim Pennington and Texas A&M Chemistry Road Show came to PHS to get 4th-graders excited about upcoming science fairs. The goal of the program is to help students learn chemistry, unlike magic, is comprehensible. Teachers want students to remember excitement of demonstrations.
