@therockisdead_ In saying that, I take your point that religion is more central to AQ's mission and recruits. But I still think there surely a better way to differentiate the IRA and AQ.
@therockisdead_ I think you find it easier to see how religion was politicized in Northern Ireland and that it wasn't really about 'the Eucharist' but don't see that there are often similar processes occurring elsewhere
