@CoffeeShopNomad @0D0yleRules Mine is called "Good news" too! Critical emails gets filed away only so they don't appear in my inbox to remind me they exist.

@canadaposthelps over the last few weeks my parcels no longer get left on my porch. When I’m home, my doorbell doesn’t ring. Instead I only get package delivery attempt notices. I’ve never had an issue with the safety of my packages. What’s up with this?
A great human rights victory! Let's hope it sets the stage for the other provinces to follow suit, so we can really mean it when we say #WelcomeToCanada!
📢 BREAKING: #BC to end #ImmigrationDetention in its jails. This means the province will no longer lock up refugee claimants and migrants in its jails solely on immigration grounds. #WelcomeToCanada

On this #WorldRefugeeDay let's remember that not all refugees get the same #WelcomeToCanada.
But also, refugees are not the only newcomers to Canada who might face immigration detention.
Grateful to all the wonderful @AmnestyNow & @HRWcanada staff & volunteers who came out to protest immigration detention in #Canada this weekend.
Join our #WelcomeToCanada campaign that calls on provinces to abolish immigration detention in their jails: https://t.co/7J9y1eprR5
@carleyspencer @nytimes Sadly, their Canada Correspondent is in town. Staying at Chateau Laurier. To be fair, not the person who wrote this article but still... face palm.
@rabjeetwallia If you can’t take time off, look for small treats/joys. A comforting meal, a workout, call a friend. Ask yourself ‘what will you today to bring yourself joy?’ And do one of those things. And book some time off to look forward to.
A mentee of mine, a young Black woman has just gotten into Ottawa U for law school. I'm hoping a Black woman that has graduated from Ottawa U law can DM me and I could connect her?
@_KrisDixon Speaking only from my personal experience, it really was not! I would go with the agent you feel is the best fit, regardless of their brokerage.
Shocked to be nominated for top lawyer for the Ottawa Awards but I won't knock it! You can vote once per day until January 28. https://t.co/GZze8QQ3Fu https://t.co/kcvieweaNl
