Thank you FSD ❤️. Saved from potential accident late at night as another car continued into our turn lane. FSD reacted beautifully. Thank you Tesla Ai team for your hard work in keeping us safe! :)
@niccruzpatane@SawyerMerritt@Tesla I would argue that it shows the opposite. 3 years ago there 0% chance he would’ve ever bought one. It’s sad how much politics play in people’s emotions
@freshjiva You’ll be shocked when you try v13. I’ve been using it in Florida for a week now. And I now use it for ~90% of my drives. Previously, while I loved following and trying out the updates, I used it about 20% of the time. V13 is unreal. It’s genuinely relaxing to just sit back.
@garyblack00 So essentially you’re choosing to invest based on the consensus estimates of Wall Street..
Investing like that will get you consensus returns. There’s a reason Tesla increased by 10x, and it’s not because it followed a pre-determined path that everyone on Wall Street saw coming
@nerdalert The many starlinks on the roof were very likely for the teleportation of the robots and for monitoring of the cars. That was my first thought when I saw them
@freshjiva While I think yes technically a decent deal, I would personally look for a late 2022 model at that price.
Btw thank you for your Tesla analysis over the years :)
@freshjiva The year matters more than the miles. You’ll miss out on (just from the top of my head):
- Refreshed center console/wireless phone charging pad
- Heat pump
- AMD Ryzen infotainment CPU (makes a big difference)
And more changes that’s happened through the years I’d look into
@AIDRIVR@rhensing I have a feeling the 6mph limit is partially due to the Vision Park Assist (Teslas 3D map that comes up when driving slow/parking) being utilized. The Vision Park Assist I believe only comes on when under ~6mph.
Makes sense you’d want to use a more detailed map for parking lots
@SawyerMerritt I test drove the refreshed model 3 about 2 weeks ago and ever since (that I can remember) have been seeing Tesla ads on YouTube. Both on the homepage and pre-video ads
@GBuck0_0@jamesdouma He’s saying that the improvements that we’re seeing in v12 are due to a completely different approach to the self driving problem. He means they may not need to have a radically different approach to achieve their goal because this End-to-End approach is very promising

@SawyerMerritt They need to learn how to advertise. People aren’t going to remember the facts and details. Tesla needs to advertise emotion. People remember how things made them feel
@SawyerMerritt Extra business for supercharges = Tesla putting in more sites. Aka more superchargers around any given location. This seems like a win for Tesla owners. This logic is the same for, say, Amazon warehouses, the more people use it, the more they put in, the more local they can be.
