@shiraasiegal @cariadhearts@darkgeminoid@cloakbrand Oh absolutely, that’s your right as a human being. I can’t stop that, and I don’t want to. I’m just throwing out my ideas on the subject. Besides, sometimes comment arguments are just fun and what you need. Quarantine does get boring😉
@cariadhearts @shiraasiegal @darkgeminoid@cloakbrand *insensative*
But to clarify I’m not saying I necessarily agree with the drops. I for one can’t afford it right now. But I am saying that I understand their probable reasons and don’t really deserve the amount flak that this is getting.
@cariadhearts @shiraasiegal @darkgeminoid@cloakbrand But they don’t have to. Like I said. The YouTubers atleast have been very public with their contributions. Donating multiple times during streams and making challenges etc. They don’t HAVE to boost their image. And why slow buisness just because some think it’s “insensate”?
@cariadhearts @shiraasiegal @darkgeminoid@cloakbrand Why do they have to? That’s confidential information. It’s their profits, they can do as they please with it. It’s not our buisness. We do know that they’re supportive of Safer at Home policies. And they have participated in charities. They have no need to boost their image.
@cariadhearts @shiraasiegal @darkgeminoid@cloakbrand Though that’s true, it’s not manditory for anyone, no matter how loyal the fan, to buy anything from them. But new drops tends to keep business up. We don’t know where all the money they make goes, they have their needs and their employees needs. Maybe they’re donating the excess
@modestlymark@pzamanstruelove However, Cloak is a business with people they need to pay. It’s not just Mark and Sean doing it all. And as Mark said during his safer at home stream, if you can’t afford it, don’t waste your money on it. Hopefully the pandemic ends and Cloak is still dropping good merch
@shiraasiegal @darkgeminoid@cloakbrand Although the timing is a bit difficult for many people. Cloak is also another business that has people to pay. It’s not just the Youtubers doing all of this. (Which many participated in the all day “Safer at Home” charity stream which raised millions for researching a cure)
