@caitscroptop Haven’t thought about in a while, but you’re 💯 correct. She’s been so much better about just playing through bad calls and not quitting on plays because she’s busy talking to refs or looking for her coaches to defend her. It is what is. You’re not getting calls CC, ball up top!

@Kameron_Hay You’re absolutely right. They have almost no scoring outside of the big three and a role player occasionally stepping up. KK is coming along great, but it takes time. AB is also not playing her role like she should be lately, but is absolutely vital to playoff success.

It’s silly that you shouldn’t run the offense through your center at the top of the key. It’s silly that your greatness will shine if you play your role in a way that benefits the team.

@SquarePegDem @kenswift It’s not stopping her from settings screens and rolling to the basket. She’s been told something from coaches and it’s not working. We’ve seen KK replicating what cc and ab did year one. You can’t do it every play, but it’s been nonexistent with them for a while. That’s a choice

@snoozingsnoopy The other issue is, once you do it and she gets in rhythm from the open looks she might start cooking even worse if you try to start guarding at the three lol…I’d still try it for a quarter or two if I was a coach

@snoozingsnoopy No bullshit I’d literally leave her open if I scouted against her. Her threes come in rythym with pressure. Let her shoot and prove that’s not the case at this point 🤷‍♂️ the real issue is you can’t let her run the offense from the three cuz then it’s a whole different problem 😂

@danisnow27 She was spamming pick and roll and crashing glass and looking like the best center in the league 2 years ago. Now she’s looking off everyone at the top of the key regardless of the defensive look and forcing actions, worse draws defenders to her guards. Get back to what worked.

@kenswift You need to have one about your starting center that was a number one pick and went from being in contention to best center in the league to actively not fitting. It’s mostly coaching direction imo, but she’s bought in and needs to be told it’s not working.
