@games_inu@BenVlodgi Cool test! We’ll fix -1. We also prefer the new default and use it across our projects. We just don’t want to break existing setups.
@games_inu@BenVlodgi If you set the value to -1 (off) you get the previous behavior. We have changed this for the release to avoid unexpected changes but that change didn’t make preview 1.
#LegoFortnite📷 is Live today! I couldn't be more proud of the team and the experience that has been created. Physics is heavily integrated into the game and I can't wait to see what people create (and destroy) with it.
@AlexRoseGames Hi Alex, thanks for the feedback. We use async almost exclusively now and there should be no issues with functioning correctly. As Sean pointed out there is increased latency but depending on the situation that shouldn't be a huge issue.
Huge congrats to everyone who worked on the launch of Unreal Engine 5! Chaos physics is now the default physics engine and we have released a number of both new and updated simulation systems including destruction, vehicles, cloth, hair, and fluids.
Welcome to a new era for creators.

@games_inu Thanks for testing this out! This was a bug introduced shortly before preview 1 was cut and has since been fixed with the fix to be included in the next preview build.
