@farmersgrowit@Reece_Mason1@Johnpascoe10 Not necessarily. 240 can suffer the same issues though maybe less common. If a manufacturer has gone for cheaper non-active constituents to save $ in the manufacturing process, you can’t be sure it will be as stable over time unless it’s been assessed, this is not always the case
@farmersgrowit@resistance_test@lmkmills1 Formulation is important to Clethodim stability, especially with 360 variants. Consider what brand you are purchasing.
Your supplier should be able to provide DOM if the sticker is illegible.
No ‘expiry date’ requirement for products with demonstrated stability out to 5yrs.
@congreve_mark Yes, clethodim is prone to degradation in drum over time, especially in less than ideal storage conditions. Formulation quality is important. 240 seems easier to keep stable via formulation options than 360. One product where non-active components can play a significant role
@agrobaz Any notes on storm, heavy rain or irritation, typically in the RESTRAINTS section of the label are usually to do with runoff/environmental assessments. This is a common misunderstanding I hear in the industry. For herbicides, we have included rainfast in the WCWC guide when known
@agrobaz Rainfast is not an APVMA requirement for labels in most instances, so many companies won’t take the risk of putting a definitive time on a label.
If there are rainfast guides, they are usually on company tech sheets, and this would be the first place to look.
Well it’s taken 20yrs of career chasing, but I can finally say that I have a place of my own. Its not going to be a full time gig, but no doubt it will end up trial central because there’s a heck of a lot of cleaning up to bring it back into peak production 🤣
@DMAg_consultant@grassrootsag@WeedSmartAU@HartFieldDay New registration for 4leaf canola can assist in patchy years like this. Edge Unify can go on at 4lf and provide both knockdown suppression and extend the residual window until the crop gets competitive. Can’t use if ppz was used upfront and I wouldn’t recommend cletho mix.
@Tedthekelpie@danicaleys No advice from the APVMA in my inbox yet and I will receive notification once any decision lands. Reseller chasing sales possibly
@RedDirt28 Only bad comments on Hilux are the inbuilt sensors in the windscreen. If you replace a windscreen, it has to be done properly and calibrated otherwise it causes issues with cruise control. Otherwise no issues. The Hilux towed my >1t boat better too. Hilux has plenty of go too.
@RedDirt28 As someone who has driven both extensively (recent base models) Hilux hands down. Tritons are rattly, tinny and feel cheap with an uncomfortable ride. Head units are buggy for phone connectivity, reverse camera and mirrors have weird opticals that are annoying for reversing.
