Elon Musk's article in the 🇩🇪 German newspaper "Die Welt" on the AfD does not contain a single sensible or well-founded argument in favor of the AfD and instead shows that he has obviously not spent a minute on data and facts.

The German Office for the Protection of the Constitution has collected years of data and facts on the party in order to then declare it to be a provenly right-wing extremist for a reason.

The state organizations in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia are already listed the AfD as confirmed right-wing extremists by the respective state offices for the protection of the constitution.

The Thuringian Office for the Protection of the Constitution categorizes the ‘Young Alternative Thuringia’ as a confirmed right-wing extremist organization.

The AfD in Saxony continues to be categorized as right-wing extremist. In summary proceedings, the Dresden Administrative Court comes to the conclusion that the assessment by the Saxon Office for the Protection of the Constitution is correct.

According to research by WDR, NDR and Süddeutsche Zeitung, the Brandenburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution had concrete plans to categorize the state association of the AfD as a ‘proven right-wing extremist’ party.

In mid-November, around 113 members of the Bundestag from various parties presented a motion to ‘initiate proceedings to establish the unconstitutionality of the “Alternative for Germany”’ in the Bundestag.

All the article from Elon Musk shows is that he is making statements without informing himself beforehand, and that's very telling.

Anyone who actually believes that a woman who has a same-sex partnership with a partner from Sri Lanka cannot be right-wing extremist probably also believes that because Hitler was a vegetarian he is against killing animals.

The argument from Elon about Weigel reveals a complete ignorance of what right-wing extremism is and how it expresses itself. Facts about right-wing extremism cannot be argued away because of a partner, they remain facts.

Since the mood in Germany has been clearly against Elon Musk for many years, but especially since his support for Trump, his article for the AfD will result in fewer citizens voting for the party and Elon becoming even more unacceptable, not because of his opinions expressed in Der Welt, but because he has not written anything that supports them in any way.

Tesla’s sales in 🇪🇺 Europe have fallen YoY in November by 40% and thats in part a backlash from buyers against Elon Musk’s support for Donald Trump and his latest statement about the German AfD party will accelerate that decline too.

Many buyers won't care but there are many who do very much.

In addition Elon makes it with his active and francly chaotic meddling in politics that is cricitized from moderate right, center and left hard to impossible for politicians to support the regulation of FSD in Europe.
