@saranormous I think one of the best books about how companies can foster scientific discovery was Only The Paranoid Survive by Andy Grove - focused on how to thrive in turbulent times. He lived it and gives a no BS account but also derives principles to follow.

@nikillinit Complexity is in the heterogenous landscape of US healthcare tech..so you solve one health system or single practice..and you've solved one health system/practice. That's why the health info highway never got built.

@nikillinit Sites can't find the time, they often don't know anything (let the vendor handle), the EHR hasn't heard of info blocking and makes it very hard to get the data, the site doesn't code well so hard to figure out what goes where, and then there's Canada (different approaches)
