Excited to share our latest paper on the influence of implant alignment and muscle activation strategies on post-TKA knee joint biomechanics!

Kudos to the outstanding collaboration with @miriam_febrer@MichaelJDreyer@w_r_taylor and other co-authors.
Great news from the @CamsKnee Team. The full article on Stan's data can be found at https://t.co/JVK4qS9LQ9.
This is a unique resource for understanding movement and loading of the human knee @ESBiomech@ETH_en@ISBiomechanics @lmbethz @Orthoload
New paper out on wear mechanisms of PE for joint implants 🥳 Wear behavior is influenced by cross-shear and contact pressure. You can use our data for computational modelling of wear. We also propose a mechanism how characteristic surface features occur. https://t.co/28m5GZ9c86
It's out! Our @esbiomech S.M.Perren award manuscript is now available describing the loads and kinematics that occur in the tibio-femoral joint during activities of daily living. #CAMSKnee @ESBiomech_2022

The #ESBiomech2022 S. M. Perren Research Award is happening now!
🏆 Winner: "Standardized tibio-femoral implant loads and kinematics" by Michael J. Dreyer from EHT Zürich
Congratulations!
We believe this data will be extremely
useful for laboratory testing and driving
and validating simulation models: For
the first time, there is a single, simple to
use set of tibiofemoral loads and
kinematics that is representative of in
vivo conditions.
I‘m happy to share that our paper „Standardized Tibio-Femoral Implant Loads and Kinematics“ has won this year‘s S.M. Perren award by the @ESBiomech! Have a look at this newly published work by the @CamsKnee team at https://t.co/QUTkJN0QmS. Thread below 👇🏻
In this paper, we present „Stan“, a representative subject summarizing the largest dataset of in vivo knee loads and kinematics. The underlying data was measured in vivo at the joint level using instrumented implants and a moving fluoroscope.
Fun video recording session at @lmbethz for my upcoming podium presentation at #ORS2021@ORSsociety and the keynote by @w_r_taylor. Weird to present without an audience, but cool to do it inside our lab. Thanks to @on_found for the support with the video!
Thrilled to be accepted for a podium talk at #ORS2021 by @ORSsociety, my first ever #Orthopedics conference. Can't wait to present our work on knee implant wear testing based on in-vivo kinematics! Big thanks to my colleagues at @lmbethz and @Empa_CH.
