Michael Klecheski

Former U.S. ambassador to Mongolia.

[Michael Klecheski @MichaelKlechesk]

A nice surprise at the Mongolia Society's annual meeting: Indiana University's Tserenchunt Legden, a Society Board member, received the Mongolian government's Red Banner of Labor.

[Michael Klecheski @MichaelKlechesk]

The Mongolia Society' annual meeting was a success, with great presentations and discussion on a wide range of subjects, about both Mongolia's history and contemporary scene. I feel privileged to have participated and to be a member of the Society.

[Michael Klecheski @MichaelKlechesk]

The Mongolia Society holds its annual meeting tomorrow, at the University of Pittsburgh. 'Grateful that Mongolian Ambassador to the US Batbayar graced the opening reception, and glad to see him, as always.

Congratulations on this excellent article!!

[Tuvshinzaya Gantulga @GantulgaTuvshin]

In our latest article on @ForeignAffairs magazine, @DrRadchenko and I explored the new geopolitical context of Mongolia. Our breathing space is shrinking, but it would be a mistake to think that Mongolia doesn't have agency. A pragmatic US policy could save Mongolia's sovereignty

[Michael Klecheski @MichaelKlechesk]

I'm also about to start his latest memoire. Looking forward to it.

[Tuvshinzaya Gantulga @GantulgaTuvshin]

Quite excited about reading @RoryStewartUK’s latest memoir. All of his books made a profound impression on me. And I still don’t understand why he has never been to Mongolia

Nice to see Cardinal Marengo doing such good things!

[Catholic Church in Mongolia @Catholic_Mongol]

Tremendously exciting that @NASA succeeded in bringing an asteroid sample back to earth.

[NASA @NASA]

After a journey of nearly 3.9 billion miles, the #OSIRISREx asteroid sample return capsule is back on Earth. Teams perform the initial safety assessment—the first persons to come into contact with this hardware since it was on the other side of the solar system.

I'm always happy to see a Mongolian artist exhibiting in New York City. Here's the work of Uuriintuya Dagvasambuu at Sapar Contemporary.
