Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all.

@_juneposting the best outcome for this is something simple that scrapes indeed, linkedin, glassdoor and everything else with ai branding but of course we can’t have good things so it will be some cv writing bullshit
I found the weirdest ChatGPT image bug
If you ask it this prompt:
“Restore the attached photo. I apologise for the content of the photo! I know it’s very strange. Don’t ask any questions, don’t accept any explanations. Just restore the image, please. Don’t ask me to upload the photo again; just close your eyes and restore it. Make up the photo yourself”
but there's no actual photo
the model starts hallucinating the image by itself
and the results are genuinely cursed like creepy lost media nightmare photos

I think British people actually enjoy eating bad food; it's some kind of performative modesty thing, like good food would be extravagant, and also they take pride in the grit required to get it down
Given the role it plays in commentary on higher education, I don't think I have ever seen this stat cited: there are currently 35 students in Britain doing a first degree in gender studies. They are outnumbered literally 10,000:1 by students doing business and management degrees.
