President @NAkufoAddo refused to sign into law the bills removing the death penalty from the 1960 Criminal and Other Offences Act and the 1962 Armed Forces Act for procedural reasons.
We call on the President to immediately reintroduce these bills and to ensure the #deathpenalty is also removed from the Constitution as it violates the right to life as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
