@DCFederation It is a lot of work! My point is that we will all ready be doing this for quarantined kids or those with health issues. I cannot guarantee a safe classroom. They should be allowed to join remotely for any reason until it's safer.
@JesstheJourno Sorry Dr. D, but social distancing will not be possible with 2000 kids in a school, 25-35 in a class. Hundreds unmasked during lunch...let's be realistic.
@DCFederation I'm so tired of hearing "layers of mitigation. " No cohorts, no social distancing, poor ventilation. Students literally only have masks. That is it! There are no masks in a lunch room. 500 kids in one room, no masks. And what ventilation plan has he seen???
@DCFederation Of course it is! Why are we not doing random tests on kids? You can't claim cases in schools are low if you're not actually testing kids.
@DCFederation DCHS is running 100% synchronous block schedule in remote. It is so much better! But, it's hard to wrap my head around what that will look like in a hybrid model.
