@BeingJWood@JJaazzee1 The billionaires who own the insurance companies will never allow it to happen. 😩 All of the politicians on both sides are bought and paid for by these guys.
Not to sound preachy, but:
Our government is broken, not by accident, but by design.
We pay some of the highest taxes in the developed world, yet that money never comes back to us. It doesn’t modernize our outdated rail systems. It doesn’t build new bridges or replace collapsing water lines. It doesn’t fund affordable housing or give Americans universal healthcare, while we send billions to countries that already provide their citizens with healthcare we’re denied here.
Instead, our tax dollars bankroll endless wars, foreign “nation-building,” and defense contractors whose profits balloon while working Americans drown in medical debt and rent hikes.
Meanwhile, China is building high-speed rail, securing mineral resources, expanding its influence, and actively working to dethrone the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency. At the same time, we argue about culture-war distractions that change nothing.
At some point we have to ask: What is the point of government if not to improve the lives of its own people? Why tax us at all if our money never returns to the communities that generate it?
America needs a government that builds here, invests here, and protects here.
Right now, we don’t have one.
@Doerrdie @LibBlocker4000 @travisakers@RonDeSantis Lol the GOP’s never gonna cut spending. They’re just gonna move that tax to people who don’t or can’t afford to own a home in a way from the large property owners. Every GOP constitutional amendment is dead on arrival with me. Property tax, the one way they can’t tax the poor.
DESANTIS: “You can't function as a State if you smell marijuana everywhere!
We were the first state, not just to defeat abortion, but also marijuana.
And we did it in the same year, in the same election, against $280 million.
And that is not easy to do!”
🚨THIS IS AMAZING:
Most major news publications have REFUSED to sign Pete Hegseth's ridiculous, restrictive "pledge" in exchange for access, including:
New York Times
Wall Street Journal
Associated Press
Washington Post
Atlantic
Reuters
Politico
NPR
CNN
The Guardian
The Washington Times
The Washington Examiner
🤯EVEN FOX NEWS AND NEWSMAX!!
(not technically considered "news")
This is how you defeat fascism:
UNITED.
@ThomasSowell Those who can save and invest in properties and invest in stocks, maybe they don’t have to pay taxes on 100% of their income. And come on Ron does your TV from Best Buy need emergency services roads police? Quit trying to scam the people.
@ThomasSowell Don’t buy the story Desantis and the Republicans are trying to slip by you. They’re trying to shift everything to a sales tax. Typically the lower income and the middle income spend 100% of their income so they’ll pay sales tax on 100% of their money.
