Katie did a fantastic job in presenting her work at the Appalachian Regional Microscopy Society Meeting. She won “Innovation Award” for her great work using electron microscopy. Katie learned her EM skills from electron microscopy class that we offer through @BCMB_UTK

Today we hosted senior students from West High School @KnoxSchools Students had opportunity learning about confocal, scanning & transmission electron microscope. Thanks to @petersonkatie_ & @debalina_rockz for demonstrating their microscopy skills for this outreach activity.
