@FantasyKash Drafted him to be my QB2 in a dynasty league three years ago and I fully expect to ride him til the wheels fall off.
He was underrated then, he’s underrated now, he’ll be underrated until he retires, but he got that dog in him.
@DhananiZain Jags payed Jakobi. Have two first round WRs on rookie contracts with 5th year options. Have a TE they also need to pay (who lowkey is more impactful to their gameplan than PW) and $ tied up other places on D & QB.
I doubt PW gets extended before the trade deadline if at all
@BronTheGoat0420@Bean887964@DynastyZack Not sure if this is who you’re thinking of but Randall Cobb’s rookie year stats are very similar to Golden’s. Same team. 2nd rounder instead of a 1st but that’s still very good draft capital and Golden was the 4th WR off the board in the 20s.
@Bean887964@BronTheGoat0420@DynastyZack I don’t understand why people keep throwing Reed’s contract out like it says something.
He got paid less than Rashid Shaheed. He’s also run a grand total of 8 routes in 2 WR sets over his career.
He’s who he’s always been. A solid rotational slot guy. That’s it.
@acosta32_jp What the fantasy community is ignoring is that Vegas is projecting a committee with nobody putting up enough individual production to be relevant for fantasy.
Unless one of them gets like 10+ TDs and in that case my money’s on the tall fast one that won’t come off the field
@DynastyZack@Bean887964 I still believe in Ricky Pearsall, has looked great whenever he’s been on the field and gotten looks.
Just needs to stay on the field.
@Bean887964@DynastyZack he on pace to before the injuries.
Concussed early in week 9. Missed week 10
Hurt his shoulder in the first quarter of week 11. Missed weeks 12-13.
Apparently also hurt his wrist sometime before week 14 and was a liability as a blocker after that, wasn’t healthy til week 18
@JakobSanderson He was pretty bad in 22 and 24 iirc? I’m also a Giants fan so i’ll openly admit i’m biased there.
Baker has been good whenever he’s been healthy except for Carolina. He’s also had a different OC I think literally every year of his career.
@TimetoRebuildit@nickercolano Oh 100% I think MHJ is a good QB and some light therapy away from being a top 15 WR
But if camp is anything to go off of he’ll break 700 yards on deep balls alone
@tre3shon On the one hand this is true.
On the other, Sam Darnold just won a super bowl.
NFL teams have shown time and again that you’re better off riding a guy who’s comfortable QB15-20 than moving on. Much better chance the new guy is QB30 than QB10.
@TimetoRebuildit@nickercolano And you think saying that would be ridiculous, but somehow it’s not ridiculous to completely write off a first round WR who put up over 1200 yards as a rookie and played hurt all of last year?
Not sure if you’re following their camp news but he looks like their best WR rn.
@DynastyZack Like 70-some.
My point is both that players can develop, and fantasy production can come from strange places.
Golden’s a much better prospect than Wan’dale and 33% of GB’s target share is vacated. He looks good on tape. Wouldn’t be shocked if he edges in around WE25 this year
@CDonnick1 If we’re talking about just who you’d rather have as your QB in 2026, there’s 12 guys I would confidently take over him, and then 2-3 where it’s a little mushy, so yeah 16th is bang on right
