A tease to Fall for many this morning with temps in the 40s & 50s. Washington DC observed a low of 59 deg. marking it's coolest August low temp in 20 years. Mountain locations woke up with a touch of frost & lows in the 30s. More of the chill tonight. #MDwx#VAwx#WVwx#DCwx
Low of 32 on Virginia Tech's sensor at Canaan Valley, WVa, this AM. But meteorology professor Dave Carroll is on site at Dolly Sods in eastern WVa where he measured unofficial low of 25 with heavy frost evident.
