@RealJamesPierce I really think an enlightenment is realizing enlightenment is a concept and not caring about it as a goal is an even deeper enlightenment.
@readswithravi Yah thats nice but come on now, give it context, thats only appropriate as cope when your losing everything and it’s out of your control.
@goodreads Got this book in art school. It’s where it all started for me, it was my first book that took a peak behind the veil, after that I was obsessed with uncovering how things work and where it comes from.
@readswithravi I like this, for everyone who became a star athlete or musician etc etc, they had this delusion. Lots of other people had it too but it never came to fruition. Point is, it’s worth being delusional about, at least you have given yourself the chance.
@pmarca This is 1000% true, bring back just suppressing thoughts and ignoring feelings. Move on, don’t dwell, I think I have add and maybe a little autism and I don’t give a shit, I am just what I am and I make it work, framing it as a problem is ridiculous!
@ZssBecker “If you don't think it slows you down, you likely have operated at half capacity for so long that you don't know what your true potential is.”
Das me 💯
@QuoteJung Thought the power of now by Eckhart Tolle was an interesting framework that made me see things differently, permanently, also not a book, but Jordan Peterson’s perspectives also changed how I see things permanently even though I’m not on board with many things
