#MrAMathRap - I'm a secondary math teacher in NY. I love complex problems with simple solutions, and learning new things. I also rap about math on Youtube!
Like the classic bottle with holes, the water can flow from the blue straw only if the air pressure is enough to push the water out, or when the pink straw is above the blue one.
When below, no air pressure on the blue one.

This really is wild... I am torn between being impressed that he's trying to make sense of this on his own, and being frustrated by his complete lack of understanding of the tools he's using.
@DemeoGame The first time my wife and I played we were sure we'd die in the final room. We managed to take down the Elven Queen by the skin of our teeth and were immediately hooked 😄
Has anyone ever seen this before? This textbook defines a “protractor postulate” and uses it to assign a real # to one ray of the angle (not to the measure of the formed angle). This is crazy right? Is it just me? Is there value here I’m missing? @jamestanton
@UarkMathTweet @MoMath1 Hmm- I don’t think Pythagorus has been featured prominently in one of my raps, but the theorem attributed to him gets mentioned in this one: https://t.co/SwFymo5G9c
@UarkMathTweet @MoMath1 Check them out and see what you think. I have many raps and lots of math tutorial videos as well on my YouTube channel at: https://t.co/QkW0cP7sPt
@UarkMathTweet @MoMath1 That something I’ve always been sensitive about, and the reason I think (and hope) it’s OK is that my raps are true to the art form and the original artists. I rap about my experiences and the story of math, not about HOW to solve a quadratic for example. 1/2
@jamiethebookie@MoMath1 Thanks so much! You can find all my #MrAMathRaps and lots of math tutorial videos and other fun stuff on my YouTube channel at: https://t.co/QkW0cP7sPt
@MoMath1 Thanks so much for having me- it was super fun! 14 minutes sure goes by fast though 😯😂 check our all my raps and other math videos at https://t.co/QkW0cP7sPt #MrAMathRap
Saturday 7/18, Momath in NYC will be hosting a virtual Math Festival with many wonderful presenters! I'll be sharing one of my #MrAMathRaps, and talking about some of the math behind them. Learn more and sign up at https://t.co/m92Q2iBz3x #MathFestival@jamestanton@MoMath1
