@DarrenBaileyIL Speed cameras can reduce driver speeds and increase pedestrian and cyclist safety. I just think the funding from them should go into better infrastructure like fixing sidewalks, raised intersections, and more bike lanes.

@publicpolicyman Bump outs are good actually. The economic impact is always taken into account which is why improvements to infrastructure such as bike lanes, bump outs and sidewalks always take so long. If you want to cut down on the time and cost cut the environmental/economic reviews.

@bisondele_ @Boenau My friend look at that abomination of a road. Why would anyone ever feel comfortable riding on that over a sidewalk. Yes these people got hit but it was at 2mph not 45mph. Either way it's the drivers fault but at least their alive.
