Prop 140 allows Open Primaries in AZ. It will result in less extreme candidates who must represent everyone in their district, not just the most extreme people from their own parties. In a republican district, we will have 2 republicans running against each other in the primary. At least one of them will realize that if they appeal just a little to independents and moderate democrats, their constituents, they will win the election. No longer will appealing to just the most extreme sliver of your party get you elected in the general election. This applies to both the right and left. Vote yes on 140 for a better AZ.
