@RowlyPaul Referring to my own experience using AutoCAD in the past. You can setup a lisp routine to force run standards checker in AutoCAD which runs by looking up to your DWS file content for standards. Although neither both that and PW CAD QA is not perfect. Still need a human to look.
Working on a small new addon to automatically download assets from @polyhaven
Nothing in this video was on my computer before, it was all downloaded from within blender using this addon.
It'll take a bit more work to finish, but then I'll probably release it for people to try out
@bondbryanBIM Almost any authoring software can generate a property with a specific GUID, like Revit. If that model is exported to IFC, then most IFC viewers can read and display it. Simplebim for example can even fix it for you and enrich associated attribute data.
@Studio_Bim@AutodeskRevit These could've been some useful operators if available:

@a_shilliday In any Common Data Environment (CDE), you can use details like company names, and emails to filter. Then further refine using volume or functional break-down codes. Again, when transitioning you can still use these unless it is more complex than that.
And so #buildify is now available for everyone! #geometrynodes library that I've made for quick city creation for #blender#b3d
This is the first version, so any feedback is more than welcome :)

@wbjbim Can you not use another product that does exactly that? I know in Bexel manager you can define your rule sets in excel and then import it. I guess your stuck with what you've got at the moment.
@TimDaviesUK @gschleusner@NXTBLD Do they compose the federated model as the amalgamation of objects instead of files? Object based vs file based, seems the way to go. How about change management process of these objects?
@for59j54@Solibri If you can, you can try to use the free BIMcollab ZOOM to federate your IFC models. Add point clouds if you like. We managed to load more than 16GB of IFC files with 120GB of Point clouds. You can run basic rules using Smart Views for quick checking. It supports BCF as well.
@BiMvoice @naviswork @Solibri@BIMcollab There are the basic tutorials on Youtube, webinars from BIMcollab and 1 to 1 support that they provide for licensed users. The tool is easy to use once the the user get the logic of the software. It fully support open standard formats ie. IFC, BCF, point clouds ie. E57, txt, xyz
