Welcome to OPEX Week
This marks the seasonal inflection.
Last year it was the 17th, a seasonal peak that coincided with VIX expiration.
The move preceded a series of events that culminated with an epic vol spike and vanna fueled crash.
History can't repeat, right?

Possible precedent? Concept shared with me by one of our members. If it turns out to be a fit, be careful. For those of us who remember, that retest was brutal on individual stocks. https://t.co/7NiHKuPACd

Everywhere I look - someone is suggesting the fed needs to cut - or I see "hey MAGA Voters" and then a bunch of 🔥statements.
but none of this was a surprise. it's been talked about since before election was won. It's only a surprise to anyone who didn't DD or didn't believe
The FOMC needs to convene an emergency meeting and do a half point rate cut today. Leaving a big spread between FF target and the 2Y creates big problems.
If we get VWAP reciprocation - then 5595 lines up as it's target w/ 5592 COG and 5600 round number.
5575 has been defended - so look for the trade imbalance within the order flow.

As promised, these Candlestick 'Cheat Sheets' might come in handy when looking at charts on #thinkorswim. I used to have these posted on my wall when I was learning how to trade. Hope you find them helpful.
Small Caps have only been this inexpensive 3 other times since the GFC.
Hard to argue NOT to start buying, but I'm sure you'll find a way to avoid opportunity! (sarcasm)

If yields are near a peak, things could get interesting for bond contrarians. The chart below (which shows large speculator positions in the 2-year note) suggests that the short bet is about as crowded as it gets.
