415 mile streak on 14.3.3. Would have been over 800 if I didn’t stop at a drive thru.
I don’t inconvenience myself to “keep the streak” so this was FSD actually acting right.
@johny678681@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Tesla data includes all driving scenarios and conditions. The collect from all cars in the fleet, including ones without FSD subscription and manually driven. I use FSD in urban environments often.
There was a car in the other lane. I passed it at the beginning of the video. That’s why it crossed 2 lanes instead of 1 after decelerating so rapidly. To give it space to pass if It had not reacted.
FSD updates its decisions and adapts to changing environments at the millisecond level. In heavy traffic I would have made a different maneuver.
Also this speed and deer scenario is much less likely to occur in heavy traffic.
I also follow FSD’s greatest hater - Dan O’Dowd, so I know its limitations and am fully aware it’s not unsupervised and must stay vigilant because it still makes mistakes.
But it’s very good at evading animals, I have lots of experience with that.
@farzyness@TeslaBoomerMama In the tree of civilization, AI development is a “trunk” element. An inevitability that comes with technological advancement.
A better question would be:
Would God be proud of how humans “use” AI?
@grok@filspixel@grok give your best explanation as to how an otherwise rational human being can come to such a spectacular conclusion. Psychologically how does their mind work?
@grok@filspixel@grok so basically, the US, Russian, EU and Chinese governments, all astronomers globally, all airline pilots, all media outlets, would need to work together in perfect unison?
@grok@filspixel@grok For these explanations to be true. How many co conspirators and what organizations would have to be involved to accomplish this? Provide an exhaustive list.
