Rightly said, rules can’t be bent and specially in complex country like ours, they certainly will be misused, and a government employee on duty won’t risk thier job making a decision on their own.
But sadly enough accountability is dead in the country. What do we care for missed exam when there none for even life lost.
@Portfolio_Bull I am apalled by the audacity of doing wrong and then drumming it on twitter. Get a mirror. But i don’t think you can afford one, even with that 20L you both conned from your friend.
Honesty and friendship is invaluable! Get a life, god bless you.
I pondered over this a lot in the past, why majority of things produced are of this below average level. Be it movies, songs, designs, products?
Then it hit me: society gets exactly what the majority craves.
Doesn’t matter if a minority (like you or me) wants better—
if the masses lap up family sex scandals, Ullu-style soft porn thrives.
That’s why saas-bahu soaps still rule prime time and news channels peddle drama over depth.
Proof? Just wait a few days, compare views on trash vs. truly great art. Numbers don’t lie.
So chill. The censor board isn’t “biased”—it’s just respecting democracy.
Your minority taste? Cute, but irrelevant 😉
You rightly pointed out that not just tourists, but everyone in the nation and who so ever cares about India should aspire to go the extra mile.
A few weeks ago, I saw a video of a group loudly arguing at a Swiss railway station, littering wrappers on the platform, and pushing into a queue. Nothing violent, nothing criminal—just everyday inconsiderate behaviour. But the caption read: “Indians again.” Thousands of likes, hundreds of comments reinforcing the stereotype. One careless group, one viral clip, and the damage is done.
Personally, I have always tried to display the best behaviour and leave a good image as an Indian.
We go the extra mile precisely because we know someone else didn’t. We become hyper-aware, almost apologetic in our politeness, hoping our small acts can chip away at the wall built by others’ carelessness.
To my fellow Indians travelling the world: let’s keep going that extra mile. Not out of shame, but out of pride. One mindful act at a time, we can slowly rewrite the story others tell about us. even if it changes just one person's perception of Indians. I would be glad.
Hahaha, use of technology, data analytics, ai, ML, sab taxpayer ki maarny ko laga do. Baaki galti sy bhi use mat kar lena technology ka kahin aur.
Being a middle class taxpayer is the most thankless job as one can have in India, and stupid same people fighting to thier life to safeguards thier poloitical opinions. For what? “A Nudge” 😂
@AbhishBanerj You genuinely need to understand that all the development you listed, while remaining sensible towards nature can go hand in hand.
Many countries have done this.
@theskindoctor13 Then he came up with clarification video, glorifying his aftermath, flag lying in a corner, probably a mere video prop, quietly removing it away in the latter part of the video.
@dhruv_rathee Dikh raha hai bhai, tera bhi desh prem dikh raha hai. Apna jhanda kone mein fek. Sabko sirf paisa banana hai, chahe BJP ho, Congress ho, movie makers ho ya tumhare jaise farzi subhchintak desh ke.
I don’t feel much for this guy, but I pity the other kids who might otherwise do well in life and truly change people’s lives. Right now, some of them might be thinking, “What the hell am I doing? Why not just do this or dance for a reel?”
I hope they find the strength to pursue endeavors that will be deeply fulfilling in the long term.
Dear @IncomeTaxIndia

Improve The Wording They are Taxpayer not a Criminal or Murderer, They pay their hard earned Money for the development of this Country.

Not a financial advice, just my story of investing in One of the many stocks I hold, Tata Power journey: From panic buying to patient holding.
I Started investing in TATAPOWER in 2022. Like many, I bought when prices were falling... and kept buying more!
Total: Bought 1500 shares over 3 years at avg ~₹231.
Market in 2022 was wild. Market crashing, I thought "bargain time!"
Feb: Bought 50 @ ₹223
Mar: 250 @ ₹233 (big chunk!)
Apr-May: More @ ₹256 & ₹231
Aug-Oct-Nov: Kept averaging down @ ₹226-₹218
I was basically catching falling knives But guess what? I didn't sell in panic.3/ 2023: Prices dipped further. More buys!
Jan: 200 @ ₹206 (lowest avg)
Apr: 200 @ ₹198-₹200
By now, holding 1500 shares. Portfolio in red for months. Tipping Friends said "Sell bro, power stocks dead."Me: Nah, Tata group + renewables future = long term bet
Lesson 1: Don't panic sell. Time in market > timing market.
Fast forward to 2025: Stock recovers big time! Andy by this time I was used to the price movement, so bought some more in Mar @ ₹348-₹351.
Then in May: Sold just 100 shares @ ₹401
Profit on those 100? Over ₹17,000! (And most of my old buys now in solid profit)Still holding 1400 shares. Unrealized gains smiling at me
Key learnings from this ride:
Cost Averaging WORKS. Buying regularly (esp on dips) lowers your avg cost magically.
Long Term Capital Gains tax is your friend. Held most >1 year = lower tax.
Patience pays. 2022 buys looked dumb then, heroes now.
Don't sell everything at once. Let winners run!
Remember, Investing is a marathon, not sprint. Hold good companies
