I love any opportunity that I get to engage with the great people at School Board Partners! I'm proud to serve on panels like these where I'm able to share some of the lessons I've learned with school board members across the country.
@astrodude78574@BigKidDinner @DelishiaForNash She’s elected to protect the people of Nashville, he’s not. She spoke truth to power, he didn’t. He lost this battle for this sign, she didn’t. What more is there to say?
I just gave to @runforsomething build sustainable power. Put your money where your tweets are and join me. https://t.co/byzBtNZYDN

I have learned so much from @schoolbpartners while I have been on the Board of Ed. This is reflected in my championing the Black and Hispanic Student Achievement Plan as well as so much other work I have done. I am hopeful for the work we can accomplish together in 4 more years!
So thrilled to be endorsed by @runforsomething! Being a millennial, a woman of color and a mom that serves the people is the highlight of my life. I look forward to your continued support.
If reelected, I will work to end educational trauma, especially on the most marginalized populations - students and families who are most harmed by systemic budget cuts that make classrooms that are supposed to feel like gateways to the future feel like a pipeline to prison.
During the past two years on the Board, I have led in equity work, championing policies for marginalized populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community and Black and Hispanic students and families.
As a single, working-class parent, I have advocated for all families, but most especially families like mine, advocating for improved bussing, expanding free lunches, and improved communication.
In keeping with the spirit of Giving Tuesday being my 39th birthday, I invite you to donate $39.00, $390.00, $3900.00, or any nod to 39, in order to ensure we have the ability to keep students supported and connected to their public learning environments.

Over the last 18 months there have been countless attempts by conservatives to fearmonger and attack public school systems, our educators, and bind our administration from providing what our students need and deserve.

I invite you to join me as we celebrate my 39th birthday, the wins that we have had together over the last 18 months, and launch a campaign that is demonstrative of our future success.
