@FogbrainArts >planned to release the steam machine
>does not go the component manufacturers to secure them ahead of the schedule release
>refuses to use their 30% sales cut to subsidize the hardware
>second complete failure for a steam machine
@tmo_melonmaster@Pirat_Nation Stick to the slop you already know and have rose tinted glasses on everytime you play it or the slop you can see because the rosetinted glasses are off.
@LuciusVerenius@Romudeth Dumb take when Playstation already know they were going to release the ps6. they likely already had contracts years before the release date that will allow them to buy components at lower prices due to the fact they will have scale on theirs tens of millions vs thousands
@Romudeth They have the scale on their side, tens of millions unit likely to be sold. They also planned ahead and have already made contracts to have their components made at scale and secured tons of capacity for many millions of units to be sold.
@Scrapox@veggieman500@Galexyofthings It does, it has many of the same 3AAA games Sony and Xbox have. The Indie slop found on steam is what many valve riders love to shove into their libraries and then never play while claiming they are actually shoveling in indies made of gold.
@veggieman500@Galexyofthings@Scrapox Oh because it doesn't have the indie slop steam is famous for than that diminishes the catalog of basically the same 3aaa game they have and not to mention their exclusives steam does not have. Shit argument overall.
@silxntgfx@GayBruce69@RamblingOnDeck@reborn_444 All those power supplies come from the same factories 💀, evga never actually made theirs nor does asrock they just stick their name on sticker and call it theirs
