한국의 부정선거 의혹을 밝히는 데 앞장서지 않는 정치인들은 선거 조작으로 이익을 얻었거나, 자신이 나섰다가 정치적 피해를 볼까 두려워 모르는 척하는 비겁한 자들이다.

한국의 역대 대통령 가운데 국가기관의 부패와 선거관리 시스템의 범죄 의혹을 국민에게 직접 알리려 했다가 탄압받고 감옥에 갇힌 대통령은 윤석열이 유일하다.

중국이 한국의 정치와 선거, 국가기관과 핵심 기술에 침투하고 있다는 문제를 국민에게 직접 알리고, 이를 막으려 나선 대통령 역시 윤석열 대통령이 유일하다.

윤석열 대통령은 자신이 정치적 탄압을 받게 될 가능성을 알고도 국가를 지키기 위해 스스로를 희생한 사람이다.

그는 배신자들에 의해 정치적으로 공격당하고, 결국 자신까지 거대한 탄압의 대상이 될 수 있다는 사실을 이미 알고 있었다. 그러나 대통령직에 있으면서 대한민국이 공산세력에 의해 장악되고 국가가 돌이킬 수 없는 위기에 빠질 수 있다는 사실을 알게 되었으며, 이를 국민에게 알리려는 그의 의도를 알아챈 세력들은 윤석열을 고립시키기 위해 온갖 수단을 동원했다.

그들은 윤석열 대통령의 측근들을 하나씩 제거하는 데 몰두했고, 그들에게 제거당하지 않고 살아남으려 했던 비겁하고 파렴치한 정치인들은 윤석열을 배신한 뒤 반대 세력에 아부하며 자신의 정치적 생존을 지키는 쪽을 선택했다.

윤석열은 자신의 정치적 생명이 이미 끝났다고 생각했을 것이다. 그의 팔과 다리는 모두 잘려 나갔고, 주변에는 그를 지키는 사람보다 배신하거나 침묵하는 사람들이 더 많이 남아 있었기 때문이다.

그런 상황에서 그가 마지막으로 할 수 있다고 판단한 일은 비상계엄을 선포하고, 자신이 알고 있는 국가적 위기를 국민에게 직접 알리는 것이었다.

윤석열 대통령은 이 일이 성공하지 못한다는 사실도 알고 있었을 것이다. 그럼에도 가장 먼저 군을 선거관리위원회와 국회로 보냈다.

만약 윤석열이 반대 세력의 주장처럼 내란을 일으켜 국가를 전복하고 북한을 침공하려 했다면, 그 정도에서 물러나지 않았을 것이다. 오히려 무기를 사용해 국회 안에 있던 정치세력을 강제로 제압하고 계엄을 끝까지 밀어붙였을 것이다.

당시 국회 안에 있던 사람들은 무장하지 않은 상태였고, 윤석열이 보낸 군인들은 무기를 사용할 수 있는 병력이었다. 마음만 먹었다면 군을 동원해 국회를 장악하고 저항하는 정치인들을 무력으로 제압할 수도 있었다는 뜻이다.

그러나 계엄군은 국회 진입을 시도했을 뿐, 국회의원들을 향해 실질적인 무력을 행사하지 않았다. 국회가 비상계엄 해제를 요구하자 군은 곧바로 철수했고 계엄도 해제됐다. 왜그랬을까?
오직 진실을 알리는데 만 목적이 있었기 때문이다.

이것이 어떻게 국가를 전복하기 위한 내란이며, 장기적인 군사 통치를 위한 쿠데타가 될 수 있는가.

오히려 윤석열 대통령을 비판하려면, 왜 일을 시작하고도 끝까지 밀어붙이지 않았는지, 왜 국가가 그토록 위험하다고 판단했다면서도 실제로는 아무것도 제압하지 못한 채 스스로 물러났는지를 지적해야 한다.

그것이 윤석열의 한계였다.

윤석열 대통령은 북한을 침공할 만큼 공격적인 사람도 아니었고, 정부 내부의 공산세력을 무력으로 제압할 만큼 냉혹한 사람도 아니었다.

그의 눈빛을 자세히 본적이 있는가?
그의 성품은 순수하고 정이 많으며, 어질고 진실한 사람이다. 그런 사람은 무력을 사용해 국가를 전복하거나 국민을 짓밟는 행동을 끝까지 밀어붙일 수 없다.

그래서 나는 그가 국가와 국민을 진심으로 사랑했던 영웅이라고 생각한다.

그리고 그는 바보다.

자신이 성공하지 못할 것이고, 정치적 역공을 받아 결국 탄압당하게 될 것을 알면서도 국민에게 이 사실을 알리기만 하면 된다는 순진한 생각으로 그런 선택을 했으니 말이다.

이렇게 바보 같은 사람이 어디 있는가.

부정선거로 국민 개개인의 권리가 침해당했는데도 아무런 문제가 없다고 생각하는 국민들이 넘쳐나는 나라, 국가기관과 선거관리 시스템에 대한 의문을 제기하는 사람을 조롱하고 탄압하는 이런 범죄 집단을 옹호하는 나라를 지키겠다고 왜 자신의 모든 것을 희생했는가.

고마워하지도 않고, 알아주지도 않으며, 오히려 범죄 의혹을 받는 자에게 나라를 넘겨주고도 자신만 배부르면 괜찮다고 생각하는 사람들이 과반을 차지하는 나라가 대한민국이다.

윤석열 대통령은 바보다.
왜 감옥에서 그렇게 고통받으며 살아야 하는가.

비상계엄을 선포하지 않았다면 지금도 전직 대통령으로서 부귀영화를 누리며 편안하게 살 수 있었을 것이다. 국민에게 국가의 위기를 알리려 하지 않고 자신의 안위만 지켰다면, 자신과 아내가 모두 감옥에 갇히는 일도 없었을 것이다.

그는 이재명과 김혜경처럼 국민의 세금으로 사치를 누리고 여행이나 다니며 그렇게 살 수도 있었다.
그러나 윤석열 대통령은 그렇게 하지 않았다.

박정희 대통령 이후 대한민국에 나타난 유일한 영웅이 누구인지조차 알아보지 못하는 국민들을 위해 국가를 지키겠다고 나섰고, 결국 자신과 아내가 감옥에 갇히는 길을 스스로 선택했다.
그러니 윤석열 대통령은 얼마나 바보인가.

자신을 버린 국민을 끝까지 버리지 못했고, 자신을 조롱하는 국민을 지키기 위해 대통령직과 명예, 자유와 가족까지 모두 내놓았으니 말이다.

지금의 한국인들은 그를 비난하고 조롱하지만, 언젠가 먼 훗날 세월이 지나면 대한민국 국민들은 나라를 지키기 위해 자신을 내던져 희생한 그에게 큰 빚을 지고 있었다는 사실을 깨닫고 뼈아픈 참회를하는 날이 올 것이다.

일부 우파들은 말한다.
윤석열 때문에 이재명에게 정권을 내주었고, 따라서 모든 책임은 윤석열에게 있다고. 그러나 나는 그렇게 생각하지 않는다.

이재명에게 정권을 내준 사람들은 윤석열 대통령의 애국심을 오해하고 그를 버린 국민들이었으며, 자신들의 정치적 생존을 위해 그를 배신한 더럽고 악취 나는 파렴치한 정치인들이었다.

윤석열 대통령은 정말 바보다.
그렇기 때문에 우리는 그를 끝까지 지켜야 한다.

시간이 얼마나 걸리든, 아무리 힘들고 지쳐도 결코 포기하지 않을 것이다.

그가 차디찬 감옥에서 오직 하나님만을 의지한 채 고통스러운 나날을 견디는 동안, 우리도 포기하지 않고 끝까지 버틸 것이다.

우리는 그에게 너무도 많은 빚을 지고 있기 때문이다.

National Intelligence Council Assessment on FOREIGN THREATS to 2020 U.S. Federal Elections.

We judge that Russia, China, Iran, as well as many nonstate actors, have the capability to conduct such activities.

Beijing has expanded its cyber collection of data related to the 2020 US elections by carrying out opportunistic intrusions against US private sector entities in efforts to collect information on US political candidates, campaigns, donors, and voter data.

Iran is conducting an influence campaign to undermine the current President and US democratic institutions, and to divide the country in advance of the 2020 elections.

We assess that hostile actors could exploit internet-connected election infrastructure-such as voter registration databases, pollbooks, and state or local election officials' websites-because of its ease of access and comparative lack of security.

These systems are designed for accessibility, commonly through web portals, making them vulnerable to a range of malicious cyber activities. A committed adversary could potentially use access to these systems to disrupt or sow doubts about our democratic election processes.

We assess that hostile actors could also manipulate systems that count or tabulate votes, such as voting machines on a localized basis, but it probably would be difficult to coordinate a campaign to alter voting results on a wide scale. Post-election audits and paper trails also most likely would uncover such efforts in the nearly all US states.

Supreme Leader Khamenei probably has authorized the influence campaign. These efforts focus largely on creating or amplifying social media content that criticizes the President and recirculating existing news reports, memes, and hashtags focused on US civil unrest, domestic protests for racial justice, mail-in voting, and the administration's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Iranian-contract cyber actors tried to compromise a server associated with a US business involved in election infrastructure.

Google announced that Iranian-linked cyber actors had unsuccessfully attempted to spearphish email accounts associated with campaign staffers working for the US President. Iran pursues such efforts in part to acquire derogatory information it could release publicly, as well as to inform its broader aims of weakening the US and damaging its standing abroad.

Criminal or other nonstate groups also have the capability to compromise US election infrastructure. Gaining access to election-related systems could allow them to disrupt the voting process, steal sensitive data, or undermine confidence in the election results.
