@TalkingTrinity Very sad news. A true Wakefield Trinity supporter in good times and bad times. I valued his wise and confidential counsel. RIP ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@JackSHemingway @antony_calvert @michaelc_68 The Council were fully behind the club from 2018 in my first hand experience. Enabled us to buy the ground back and then worked closely with us to obtain the funding for the East Stand etc - just as Jack says 👍👍

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

This was drawn to my attention. Not sure either Matt or I believed the club would achieve so much in three years. We were right to be positive tho🤣🤣. Rebuild the stadium then rebuild the. Club. Well done Matt and all at Belle Vue ❤️🤍💙

[Wakefield Trinity @WTrinityRL]

📰| Wakefield Trinity are excited to announce that an agreement has been reached, subject to legal completion, for the club to be acquired by Matt Ellis of DIY-Kitchens.

Wanted to post this evening but not sure what to say 😱😱. Just magnificent. Well done everyone. I knew that 1979 scarf would turn lucky eventually 🤣🤣 ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

Don’t post much these days as I’m just a supporter again😁- but what an achievement by @WTrinityRL last night, and over the whole season. Congratulations and thanks to Matt, Daryl and the whole team. Special mention to Max Jay and Mason who have been the whole journey ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@downatbellevue Of all my great JK memories, this is probably the greatest. A true legend of the sport and forever a Wakefield Trinity hero 🔴⚪️🔵

[Down at Belle Vue @downatbellevue]

He saved us when nobody thought it was possible. Thank you John, a true modern day Trinity hero ❤️

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

Whatever view you take of the politics, supporters of @WTrinityRL should always be grateful to @denisemjeffery and @JackSHemingway for the great support they gave us in beginning our stadium redevelopment. Would not have happened without them 🔴⚪️🔵

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@merseyrail An “operation incident” doesn’t really explain why this inconvenience happened. There was no communication from the driver. No consideration for passengers

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@merseyrail why did your train just stop at Town Green as scheduled but not open the doors before moving on. Passenger not set down or picked up

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@NoHelmetsReq @WTrinityRL Must have been standing next to me 😁😁

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

With a governing body who do very little in terms of “fit and proper” checks when prospective new owners appear on the scene you have to be very careful who you sell your club to - in my experience

[John Davidson @johnnyddavidson]

Today’s development with Salford may be the first step in the right direction for the club, in terms of rebuilding and reformation.

Still a lot of pain to come though. Spoke to one former Salford player who is owed £15,000. He’s unlikely to get it. Paul King is set lose his house. Other staff unlikely to be paid.

Nightmarish situation.

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@TrinityHeritage One of my favourites 😁😁

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@johnnyddavidson This is a complete mess. There is just not enough money coming into the game to support 14 teams of sufficient quality - or even 12 based on this year’s evidence. No wonder no financial model has been produced to support the change - it doesn’t exist

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@TrinityHeritage Remember that vividly. Terrible day

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@WTrinityRL To be hoped that Wakefield don’t miss play offs on point difference then. What a joke 🤡

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@WTrinityRL Very sad. A top Trinity fan. One of the best ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@WTrinityRL Terrible news. Graham was a stalwart of the club but more importantly a kind and generous guy and a great friend. We will all miss him enormously. Love and best wishes to Denise and family ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@WTrinityRL A Trinity great. Did so much for the club for so long. Never forget the time I met him in the owners’ hospitality at St James’ at Magic weekend. He had just wandered in like he owned the place - which in a way - he did. RIP Ray ❤️🤍💙

[John Minards @MinardsTrinity]

@AaronBower Thanks for the kind word @AaronBower It’s a team effort. Carter saves the club from going under. I played a part in getting the big bit of the stadium sorted and Matt Ellis is taking us to another level. Where we want to be. Not a straight line tho 🤣🤣🤣
