The SVB Asset Liability mismatch saga is a bit distant and has its impact by and large limited to the US banking system. It has although created a short term interesting buying opportunity in the Indian equity markets. 1/n
You'll be shocked after hearing what Captain Smit Machchar said to the passengers 🚨
Doctor Maya Peretz -
“Smit is truly a brave man. Everyone on that plane was brave. Everything was going normally, and I was peacefully taking a nap. Suddenly, the whole plane shook so violently that people started panicking.
After some time, some of us saw the cockpit door being opened. I was sitting in the last seats, so I couldn't clearly see what had happened. But when people started attacking the Muslim pilot, Captain Smit said, ‘Leave him. If anyone can control the plane, have a look.’
Some of us were even ready to throw that man out of the plane. But Captain Smit and few of us doctors insisted that we should not do it and let officials deal with him. I truly want my daughter to become as great a human being as him. I pray to lord that he recovers soon.”
No matter which country you belong to, everyone should aspire to be a human like Smit 🙏❤️
Indian pilot saved 174 lives: Captain Smit Machchar, the pilot of a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was injured after his Omani co-pilot allegedly attacked him in what was reportedly an attempted hijacking.
Absolute bravery. I sincerely pray for his speedy recovery.
Let’s recognize Captain Machchar’s extraordinary courage and keep him in our prayers. Heroes like him deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.
#WATCH | Delhi | On Indian shooter Manu Bhaker missing out on a medal, Neeru Dhanda's coach Mansher Singh says, "She is truly outstanding and an amazing shooter. Losing her coach was a massive shock for her. As an athlete myself, I understand the various emotional challenges one faces when losing a coach. Yet, she has moved forward with great courage and resilience. Given the way she has handled herself, I am 100% certain she will start winning again, just as she always has. She has set an example for the younger generation; everyone looks up to her, and I believe she has been an inspiration to our junior shooters. Therefore, we should accord her the respect she deserves and give her the time needed to return to her peak performance. I have no doubt about her capabilities." (29.09)
Dear Transport Minister & senior officials,
Minister Shri @anilvijminister ji, Commissioner & Secretary (Transport) @AtulKumarIAS, Director, State Transport @DhirendraKhadgata, and Transport Commissioner @PrabhjotIAS
This is the sorry and distressing state of your key Haryana Roadways facility at Gurugram Bus Stand, Sector 12.
Regretfully, this is not a new complaint. Open dumping of waste, waste burning and poor sanitation have been raised repeatedly for years. There have been complaints, complaint numbers and media reports drawing attention to these conditions.
So how is it that, despite years of complaints and media attention, there still seems to be so little urgency to provide passengers with even basic cleanliness and sanitation?
Your own department’s Citizen Charter speaks of providing passenger transport that is comfortable, safe and environment-friendly. I have attached a snapshot of that commitment.
But these commitments have simply not translated into action on the ground.
We keep asking people to use public transport. But if this is what we provide at our bus stands, why would anyone not want to buy a car?
Credit to the commuters who continue to use public transport despite these conditions and take the trouble to document what they see.Special thanks to Sh Sumit Tayal, our Clean Air Bharat member, for enduring this along with several hundred commuters on daily basis yet recording and sharing these ground realities in the hope officials entrusted with effectuating govts commitment and vision -will wake up and put into place a basic sanitised conditions -this lifetime atleast .

हार्दिक बधाई के साथ ढेरों आशीर्वाद💐
This is Golf Course Extension road. Needs massive effort to clean up and later ensure it remains in good shape.
The entire road is simply mind-blowing 🙌🍀
CPCB complaint raised. MCG said it was “addressed.”
But please look at Khandsa today.
An established Secondary Collection Point has become a mini-landfill in the heart of the community ~20 m high and spread over 300–400 m, with fresh + rotting mixed waste.
50 m from a Govt school. ~100 m from Khandsa Mandi.
Waste from 3 zones is reportedly coming here, while there is a shortage of vehicles to move it out.
Cows feeding on garbage. Dogs scavenging. Vultures circling overhead. No visible vector-control mechanism.
And winter is approaching.
Khandsa has already seen a major waste fire in June, requiring 250+ fire tenders. What happens when this enormous mixed-waste mountain dries out?
An SCP cannot become a landfill simply because the system cannot move the waste fast enough.
People pay for waste collection. After collection, where does it go?
Where is the segregation? Where is the wet-waste processing? Where is dry-waste recovery?
@MunCorpGurugram@cpcb_official @HSPCBOfficial @CAQM_Official@csharyana@cmohry@RaoNarbir@VipulGoelBJP@moefcc@MoHUA_India@ArtiSinghRao@PrinSciAdvGoI@ulbharyana please :

Gurgaon residents are taking to the streets demanding a cleaner city free of debris and waste in every corner, including the so-called green belts.
This is unhygienic and a health risk. Untreated waste on roadsides is choking drains and causing flooding after an hour of rain.
Years of complaints have brought no solutions. Waste management tenders keep getting delayed for years.
The city that pays the most taxes in the state does not even get basic hygiene in return.
Who is accountable?
Almost every street in the city looks filthy. Citizens came out for protest today to demand hygiene and cleanliness.
It’s 2026 and basic civic services are largely missing.
