It was great to have such a lively conversation about Nikola Tesla, the opera about him, his love for a pigeon... and my new book TESLA'S OPERA! Thank you, @SallyWGrotta!
For What If? Why Not? How? I spoke with Miriam Seidel, author, editor & librettist about her opera Violet Fire and the new book Tesla’s Opera: The real, stranger-than-fiction Nikola Tesla. This is about #NikolaTesla, the man, NOT the car. #Video

I'm giving a talk next week at my local library on Why I Write Science Fiction and Fantasy! It's been fun to go through the books and TV shows (looking at you, Star Trek) that shaped my imagination. Lansdowne Library, Wednesday, 9/25 at 6:15 pm.
Novel descriptions are all like "James Patterson meets Virginia Woolf" or "Charlotte Bronte meets Vin Diesel" and I'm like that sounds terrible and also what are they meeting about.
