All The Sims 4 packs, base game included, have been labeled 18+ from 2014. We still have no idea what was the problem with this pack. If it wasn't a political or populist decision of course.

The most upsetting fact is that The Sims community that values global inclusiveness and LGBTQ+ support stands with the corporate people and their kind of populist decision and not the regional LGBTQ+ community that has been hurt. That is sad.

So, that's all EA has to do to release the pack in Russian region (the same thing has been done for all the previous packs in Russia). You can dislike our laws (we don't like them much either), but don't say they obligate someone to change the story.

@qorquiq According to Russian laws EA doesn't need to do anything other than to mark the pack 18+ (that has been done for all the packs since 2014 in Russia). They can have their stance, sure, but it's still kind of hypocrite of them to say that they HAVE to change something. They don't.

@ShortcakeTv @SimMattically @acidlure There's no need to remove a gay couple from the cover to release the pack in Russia. Actually, they don't have to make any changes for the story. That's why their statement sounds so confusing to all Russian LGBTQ+ people.

@draka_el @SimMattically It will never affect Russian politics and laws. Speaking from within Russia btw. It's a good way to segregate the global sims community and to hurt Russian LGBTQ+ though. We got the EA's message that our LGBTQ+ isn't good enough to support. Devastating and heartbreaking.
