Queda muy poco para que llegue la Superluna Azul: la luna llena más grande y brillante. Su nombre nada tiene que ver con su color si no con que será la segunda del mes de agosto. Tendrá lugar la noche del 30 al 31 de agosto y la próxima luna azul de este tipo, ocurrirá hasta marzo del 2026.

Las superlunas se producen cuando la órbita del satélite terrestre está en su perigeo, lo más cercana posible a nuestro planeta, y al mismo tiempo se halla en plenilunio (Luna llena).
