🚨New paper out!

We show that Deep sleep in the TPJ is linked to implicit racial bias! 💤

➡ Our results suggest that local aspects of sleep may account for inter-individual differences in social cognition. 🧠

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

Thrilled to see our work featured in the latest issue of SLEEP🧠💤
Mayeli & Ferrarelli @FabFerrare highlight that besides mindfulenss as a state, trait mindfulness, as assessed in our work, is key to fully unpack the link to sleep.Excited for what's next✨

@boryana_td @SocialNeuroBern Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow 🤩

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

🌍 Excited to welcome @boryana_td in our #SNS_colloquium tomorrow! Together we will explore the neural basis of pro-environmental behaviour and discover how social neuroscience can help us understand & inspire climate action. 🧠🌱

📢Yeah! Our new paper is out ❗️

Many thanks to my excellent collaborators - it's a team effort of @SocialNeuroBern !

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

🥳Hurray! So excited to share our new study just published in #JNeurosci @SfNJournals !

🧠💤 We unraveled a novel link between deep sleep neural markers and prosocial preferences.

The #EEG/ERP #microstates approach in #SocialNeuroscience

In our new ERP study, we adopted the #microstates approach to illuminate the chronometry of all mental processes involved in lying and truth-telling.

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

How is individual behaviour aligned with collective goals? We are looking forward to welcoming @kuk_charlotte from @Cambridge_Uni at our #sns_colloquium tomorrow who will provide a #selfcontrol perspective on collective action problems.

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

Excited to welcome @christine_blume from @UniBasel_en at our #SNS_colloquium! Does our brain rest or does it continue to process information when we sleep? Looking forward to find out!

[Emmanuel Guizar Rosales @EGuizarRosales]

📢Excited to share my very first paper, published in @NeuroImage_EiC ‼️

Are individual differences in intergenerational sustainability related to differences in brain structure?🌱🧠

We find they are!

https://t.co/pranqoUkXe

A team effort of @SocialNeuroBern

[Social Neuroscience Bern @SocialNeuroBern]

Interindividual differences in intergenerational sustainability relate to differences in brain structure.

Read all about it in our new paper (the very first paper of our PhD candidate @EGuizarRosales) published in @NeuroImage_EiC.
