As we travel deeper into space, mission-critical parts will malfunction along the way. To fix them, what if we could create parts using microscopic materials that self-assemble and potentially self-repair? This is being investigated on @Space_Station now: https://t.co/Py6qE07Xvd
It’s public education day. To everyone who works in, attends, supports and cares about public education, may I thank you for all you do to keep the idea of equality of opportunity for all children regardless of the lottery of birth burning bright.
A big congratulations! Well done, Australia. You're officially amazing!
You've broken the world record for the most people stargazing from multiple venues. @GWR final numbers yet to come! #StargazingABC
It has only taken almost 1 and a 1/2 Terms but I have finally built a stronger relationship with one of my students who wouldn't do ANY work, be violent and put himself down. Feels good. 🎉
I attended my college's Sustainability meeting and volunteered to lead Nude Food and all other nutrition things with my interest and degree in Nutrition. Only Grad there and already leading. Hope I do well! #sustainability#nudefood
@NatashaZiebell @EduMelb I can't wait! My voice will finally get a break and return. My school does it a little different as we do ongoing goals and achievements every 3 weeks and then the other requirements. So much work! First week when I've refused to do work at home :) need to find balance.
I have been implementing Google Classroom into my teaching practices and it has been a great way to save paper and keep assessment online. However... #GoogleClassroom#teacher
I was the only teacher in the 1/2 community to allow my students to have a voice in deciding upon their Reading group names. Just as I predicted. Superheroes. I joked with them about wearing a Batman mask during Guided Reading and apparently they told me I have to now. #mteach

In my Grade 1/2 community we have 114 students and I chose to take the highest Maths group with over 30 kids. Apparently I am the "cool teacher" because I do hands on and crafty maths activities and play music. 🤣👏 #primaryschoolteacher#mteach
@Sciencematters It was very fun! Still weird to think I am not the student anymore! So far so good! :) Tomorrow sequence involves craft making math bookmarks, painting our hands and Ipads 😄
Took my Maths group a.k.a self proclaimed "Math Champions" outside to practice skip counting and used chalk and cards. We also utilised the numbered caterpillars around the school for some fun. #maths#teacher
