Y4 visited @SouthfieldSch for a literacy day last Friday. The had a wonderful day and absolutely loved working with @wordguerrilla #literacy #poetry

Apples Class recommend 'How to Catch a Dragon' by @carylhart1 and @ed_eaves. It is a fabulous book about a boy called Albie and his adventures in the local library. We loved the twists and turns and had great fun trying to draw dragons ourselves. Apples give it 10 out of 10!!!

We follow Lyra on an adventure as she battles against Mrs Coultar and the gobblers. She journies northwards with her daemon Pantalaimon to rescue her best friend.

Today, the whole school came together to pay respect for Remembrance Day.

UKS2 read a beautiful poem called In Flanders Fields. Mrs Jacox spoke about the reason for Remembrance Day. We all listened to The Last Post finishing with a 2-minute silence.
