First day teaching live today, few helpful pointers I've picked up working on Teams:
1) all pupils muted, hands up function if want to speak, then I unmute
2) worksheets on assignments to complete during the lesson (set to pupils edit own copy)
3) use forms as starter quiz

Working in a school in a very deprived area (top 10% poverty in the country) means presents arent really a thing for our teachers, but a child drew me a picture and it was honestly 1000x better than any present 😢

Sat in my 2nd week isolation having tested positive whilst following every rule and feeling infuriated at the amount of people who couldn't care less on social media, having parties and meeting with mates, no subtlety or shame 😭
