So yesterday my boyfriend called me at 11 o’clock to see if I wanted to spend the weekend in Ireland, by 7pm I was in an Irish pub drinking a pint of Guinness. Happy six weeks everyone 🇮🇪😁

It was my last day in my current school and it’s finally hit me that I’m not going to be returning in September. The (12🍫!!) boxes of chocolates, bottles of wine and presents don’t come close to the thoughtful personalised messages left in cards, I’ll miss these kids🥺☹️

I had the best mentor during my PGCE year, she still checks in after two years. I hope one day I’ll have the opportunity to be this kind of mentor to a trainee teacher👩🏼‍🏫
