Any advice on how to teach life after death while currently loosing a loved one? Remaining calm and professional when teaching the subject is becoming really difficult but I can’t let my year 10s down.

To end my ECT years I am currently working with the Baker Dearing Trust creating an RE syllabus for multiple schools in the UK and asked to go on a Leadership course for my school 🥹 LET SUMMER COMMENCE 🥂

@rroyal110 University Technical Colleges, I work in one in Bolton and they focus on STEM subjects and employability but the Baker Dearing don’t won’t RE to be neglected.

@rroyal110 It’s an RE syllabus for all UTC schools in the country to ensure consistency, employer engagement and that it can be tweaked by schools to fit the local syllabus! Very excited to start it!

@TomWard44195863 I do a couple of lessons with year 8 on Paganism and Witchcraft (the misconceptions of witches and rituals mainly) so you can use that for what type of knowledge they should already have.
