Teachers- it’s a month before we go back to the most challenging year of our career Eat the donuts, swim the ocean, walk the woods, and drink the wine. Ride the bike, plant the garden, take the nap, read the trashy novel. Fall will come. We can worry then.

All of these ideas are not my own. I have taken a lot of inspiration from some amazing practitioners on twitter and other tasks I have created. I hope you find these useful! 😊
Busy afternoon making bitmoji stickers. Are any other trainees/NQT’s making the most random things to fill time 🤦🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ Happy to send the templates for these over to anyone who would like them! #NQT#historyteacher#edutwitter
All done! 120 recommended reads sent out to our students. Thanks very much to everyone who suggested many of these books and helped me put the lists together! 😊 #SummerReading (1/3)
Submitted last PGCE assignment ✅ gained QTS ✅ visited new classroom for September ✅ !! It’s all very real now and hopefully we’ll be back teaching safely in September 🤞🏻📚
I’ve been working on poetry annotations today. This is something I want to give my Y10s alongside their anthologies in Sept. 5 clear points, so they can navigate through the poem more easily. It can be overwhelming seeing a mass of notes like the anthology at the back.
Even more excited to get back into the classroom after the Guided Reading CPD with @MrB_Y3 earlier! Loved having an excuse to use GoodNotes too🙈 #edutwitter
I've had a bit of a tidy up of my blog as it was looking a little shabby. I've uploaded all my big lectures, expert teaching crib sheets and workbooks, including this for The Tempest. Fill your boots! https://t.co/PviFDiQCU5 @Team_English1#teamenglish
Absolutely in LOVE with my new assessment tracker🤩 can’t wait for the matching planner to arrive in July 🥳🥰 pre-ordered and will definitely be worth the wait 🤞🏻
Tickets still available for my talk on the language of poetry on the 1st July. Free for KS4/KS5 students and teachers. @NATEfeed@Team_English1 @AstonLSS @LitdriveUK https://t.co/KsOSFXgdiI
Days away from finishing my PGCE and the rainy weather definitely helps me to stay focused and indoors! 🌧Can’t wait to finally submit this and hopefully be reccommended for QTS next week 🤞🏻
